Thanks for the e-mail and all of your good ideas for a concert tour for Marat. My sister Margo and I are already at work contacting organisations in the US for sponsorship. We''ve started in the San Francisco area, as I am still in California. I will send Margo Marat''s DVD and she will burn 50 copies and we can send copies out to different organisations here in the US (so you don''t have to send any copies via the post).
Below is one of the letters that we are sending out to contact sponsors, so that if Mars receives any resposes, that is what it''s all about.

So we are already busy working on this, and will contact as many Russian cultural organisations as we can. When I return to Washington next week, I will start with cultural groups and of course go to the Russian embassy myself to get more information. Margo and I have decided that we will make this happen. She is as formidable and determined as I am, so it is only a matter of time. Now we have both coasts of the US covered!

Mars, the "Four Brothers” website improves by the day! Great work with the English translations and you continue to make the site easier to navigate, and more interesting and attractive. I love to open ‘marselino.narod.ru’, and hear Marat singing. This is helping me to write the long and complex report on the Central Asia basic education evaluation, first draft due at the end of next week.
While listening to ‘gari, gari’ (the English phonetic equivalent of ‘shine, shine’), I write and analyse the complex data. It’s very relaxing and Marat’s pronunciation of the words is so clear that I expect to wake up one morning speaking Russian. Now, instead of Ruslan’s soft English translations, I hear Marat’s sweet voice. While in Tashkent, Bishkek and Almaty I used to put the DVD on my laptop and let Marat sing me to sleep. Now he keeps me company while I write, hour after hour.
I am downloading Marat’s Russian romance songs one by one via Mismatch, and will share then with my friends. Keep up the good work with the website, and do encourage Ruslan to occasionally answer his email, so that I don’t have to use your website as an email address!
Also, I hope that Marat can sent Elena Zhimiruk a copy of his DVD in the post, as we just could not find anywhere to make a copy. She is a very intelligent and charming woman, and would like to help organize a concert for Marat in Bishkek. Nice to see the photo of her and her two sons in your photo gallery!

Bishkek is cloudy and grey, misty rain, and oh, how I miss the Tashkent sunshine and Amur Timur park.
